Cinch’s New Service Tier Program: Core, Cinch Plus, and Cinch Max
Discover Cinch’s new service tier program, featuring Core, Cinch Plus, and Cinch Max, with flexible options designed to give you more choice, benefits, and value when subscribing to your favourite devices.
Cinch Service Tiers: Core, Plus and Max
Renting tech should be simple with clear costs and no 2-year telco contract. In a fast-paced digital economy, flexibility and simplicity is a necessity. To keep everything clear to you and help you take charge of your hardware, Cinch has launched a new tiered service plan – Cinch Core, Cinch Plus, and Cinch Max.
No matter your tech needs, from a light and affordable plan with low fixed repair fees, next-day device swaps, and early upgrades, tier availability depends on the device. You'll see your options at checkout.
What is Cinch Core?
For subscribers who treat their devices with absolute care and only need the most affordable monthly commitment, Core may suit you.
Core comes with the standard device subscription rental fee. This provides you with the premium device of your choice, with zero large initial purchase. However, it doesn't include a damage waiver or subsidized repair rates. When your device experiences an accidental drop, spill, or mechanical failure resulting from user damage, you will need to pay for the full repair cost, plus S$25 logistics fee.
This is ideal for more reserved users or those who already have their own plan elsewhere and intend to make their recurring monthly expenditure as low as possible.
What does Cinch Plus Offer
If you need an inexpensive buffer for life’s little and occasional mishaps, Cinch Plus offers a no-frills, inexpensive safety net at only S$4.99/month.
Under Cinch Plus, you’ll enjoy one service request every 12 months to have your phone repaired, at a fixed rate of S$75/repair including liquid damage. There’s no need to be concerned with market repair pricing or the replacement of costly components.
Cinch Plus also grants member deals, partner offers, and 1.2x loyalty points for the renewal of your next device, making it a comprehensive upgrade for everyday smartphone users seeking reliable value.
What does Cinch Max Offer
Cinch Max is all about making a little less waiting during your subscription term. It’s built to keep you connected when something goes wrong.
S$25 Fixed Repair Fee: Drop your device, crack the lens, or spill coffee on the device? A fixed S$25 fee for each repair for any fault at one service request every 6 months, including liquid damage.
Next-Business-Day Device Swap: No need to go days or weeks to the repair shop for your phone. Choose a device swap for S$125 instead of the S$25 repair fee, and we’ll deliver a working phone the next business day.
Replacement If It Can’t be Repaired: If your device is beyond economic repair, we’ll replace it for a fee.
Early Upgrade Included: In the last 6 months of your term (from month 19 on a 24-month term), upgrade to a new device with no early termination fee.
Member Benefits: Priority support, deals and partner offers, and 1.5x loyalty points on future device subscriptions.
If your smartphone is part of your workday, Cinch Max gets you a working device the next business day.
What If You Already Have an Active Cinch Subscription?
If you subscribed before 30 September 2026, nothing changes.
Everyone who subscribed before the launch of these new tiers will receive the same damage waiver and same monthly price, until the end of your current term. There’s no need to perform any admin or pay any additional fee to receive this coverage. Your current subscriber prices, terms, and coverage protection is unaffected at 100% until the end of your ongoing subscription term.
Cinch’s Service Tiers Program FAQs
Is liquid damage included under Cinch Plus and Cinch Max? Yes. Liquid damage is treated like any other physical fault. Under Core, you pay the full repair cost, plus S$25 logistics fee. Under Cinch Plus, liquid damage is repaired at the fixed S$75 fee. Under Cinch Max, it’s covered under the reduced S$25 repair fee.
What happens if my device is lost or stolen? Loss and theft are not included under any plan tier — Core, Cinch Plus, or Cinch Max. Subscribers remain responsible for safeguarding their rented hardware against total loss or theft.
Can I switch between Core, Cinch Plus, and Cinch Max during my contract term? Plan selection takes place once at checkout when you initiate your subscription. Your chosen tier runs for the entire duration of that specific contract term, though you can freely select a different plan tier when you renew or initiate a new subscription.
How does the next-business-day swap work on Cinch Max? If your device experiences a fault or damage, submit a service request. Once it's approved, choose a device swap for S$125 instead of the repair fee. Cinch dispatches a working phone to your address on the next business day.
How does the early upgrade feature work under Cinch Max? When you enter the final six months of your contract term (for instance, starting from month 19 on a 24-month contract), Cinch Max lets you upgrade with no early termination fee, once per contract. You return your current device and start a new term.
